LeBron James And Savannah James Celebrate 9 Years Of Marriage With Sweet Messages Of Love!
LeBron James and his wife Savannah celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on Tuesday!
To mark the occasion, the married couple took to Instagram with a post expressing their love for one another. “9 years down(21), forever to go!! Cheers to us my love!! Happy Anniversary!!💕#JamesGang,” she captioned a romantic date night image of herself with the NBA superstar.
LeBron posted hand-drawn photos of his wife on his Instagram stories. One read “Savannah” in block letters with a crown sketched beneath it. The post was captioned, “Happy Anniversary Again QUEEN!! Love you mama!”
FYI: The lovebirds have been dating since they were in high school, hence the "21" in Savannah’s caption.
In a 2017 interview with Cleveland Magazine, Savannah shared that she met a teenage LeBron when she was 16 after a mutual friend revealed that he asked for her phone number. She declined and instead got his.
"I’m like, ‘Um, nope. I’ll take his number,’" she told the magazine before recalling, “One day I’m sitting around — I was probably bored or something — and I’m like, ‘Oh, I forgot! I have this number for this guy that I can call. He seemed interested, so let’s see.’“
FYI: In September 2013, the pair exchanged vows at the Capella Chapel Grand Del Mar hotel in San Diego. The couple shares two sons, Bronny and Bryce, and a daughter Zhuri.
“He is truly a king to his queen, if you will,” she shared in the interview about their relationship. “He treats me with so much respect — I mean, it’s hard to not love him, with the way that he is with me and the kids and his mom and just everyone who’s around him. He’s a really, really humble guy for everything that he has and everything that he’s done.”
