Wow! Find Out What Bill Cosby Is Doing to Stay Out of Jail

The fallen icon is putting everything on the line.

Bill Cosby is willing to put his entire fortune on the line to avoid going to jail — and to salvage what's left of his reputation.
According to Page Six, the fallen TV icon is spending millions on lawyers and image specialists to change the narrative around him from sex offender to victim.

“This thing’s going to be tied up in litigation anyway, so you might as well look like you’re the aggrieved party,” said Professor Laurie Levenson of Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, who is not involved in Cosby's case. “The best defense is a good offense.”
Of course, the biggest threat he faces is from the criminal case brought against him for violating Andrea Constand, a former Temple University employee, at his Philadelphia home over a decade ago. According to legal documents, Cosby was promised immunity in that case from the former district attorney in exchange for giving a deposition in Constand's civil case against him — that was the deposition that pretty much confirmed all the rumors about Cosby slipping drugs to unsuspecting women for sex. A judge, however, has ruled that the immunity was not offered through proper channels and is therefore not valid.
“I’m sure he’s angry that he thought he made a deal with someone … and then all of a sudden the whole thing blows up on him and his whole reputation is ruined,” said celebrity lawyer Larry R. Feldman of Los Angeles, who is not involved in the Cosby case but represented a 13-year-old who sued Michael Jackson. “I’m not worried about him financially, but nobody at this stage of his life and his career, I’m sure, wants to be defending these types of claims.”
Joseph Cammarata, a lawyer for seven women suing Cosby in Massachusetts, said he isn’t concerned about the size of Cosby’s legal team, which includes lawyers from across the country. “Only one person can speak at a time. In no way, shape or form do I think I am at a disadvantage,” Cammarata said.
Unfortunately for Cosby, at 78, it seems like he will either spend the rest of his years behind bars, or in hiding.
Cosby still has a few friends left, though, including his former co-star Keshia Knight-Pulliam. Watch how she defended her longtime TV dad on BET Breaks, above.
