Boosie Badazz Threatens Mark Zuckerberg With $20 Million Lawsuit
Rapper Boosie Badazz is threatening to take Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to court.
In a recent sit-down interview with VladTV, the 38-year-old rapper and entrepreneur alleges that he was suing the mega tech giant for $20 million after he was banned on Instagram in August of this year. The organization’s decision to deactivate his social media account has taken an extreme toll on his business ventures.
“[Zuckerberg] made some of my business ventures go down, so I'm suing him now. I'm filing a lawsuit against him,” he said. “He stopped me off Instagram and he didn't put me back on Instagram. And that's affecting my business.”
Boosie’s Instagram account was deactivated following sexually explicit content featured on his IG Live broadcasts, Complex reports. The Louisiana rapper then released a video asking Zuckerberg to reactivate his page, claiming it was one of his largest sources of income.
According to Boosie, he also offered the Facebook founder $100,000 to get his account restored but his efforts were unsuccessful.
Now, he believes his new unverified Instagram account is being targeted because he is unable to use the live broadcast feature.
