Report: Birdman Upset With Lil Wayne Over Cash Money Diss Song
Lil Wayne has gotten under Birdman’s skin.
The head honcho of Cash Money Records feels “disrespected” after he was dissed on the Sorry 4 the Wait 2 mixtape, TMZ reports.
Weezy dropped the mixtape earlier this week, and it’s already nearing half a million downloads. He outwardly blasts Cash Money, spitting on one track, “Who was there when n**s left?/ N**a me, that’s who/ Cash Money is a army, I’m a one-man army/ And if them n**s coming for me, I’m going out like Tony/ I don’t want no problems, I just want my money.” In another line Wayne calls Birdman an “ugly duckling.”
No matter how much he gripes though, Birdman's not giving in. He's upset that Wayne wants out of his contract, and that he made their feud public. The plan is to keep Tha Carter V on hold until Birdman sees fit, TMZ says.
The same apparently goes for Tyga’s Gold Album, which is still delayed. T-Raww tweeted earlier this week, “The gold album won't be released the 27th still fightin with Label on my release. But will keep u guys updated.”
Birdman moves at his own pace.
