Kid Cudi is turning over a new leaf, but it won't be of the cannabis kind. The G.O.O.D. Music rapper announced on his Tumblr account that he's leaving the marijuana alone, now opting for a cleaner image.

"I know most of you wanna see me all drugged out and f---ed up and i know misery loves company, but I'm sorry those days are over," he wrote.

Cudi, who was arrested back in July 2010 for possession of a controlled substance, says he will put his energy towards his music instead. "I always made music for me to help myself find understanding. I have finally learned from the words in my songs. I love who loves me and who really cares about me," he added.

The "Day 'n' Nite" rapper assured readers that despite the fact that he made the announcement on April Fool's Day, it was not a joke. He is currently working on a rock album titled Wizard, and a new mixtape titled A Man Named Scott, due out this summer.
