As of late, Remy Ma has been looking like a whole new woman. The New York rapper has been showing off her snatched body and glowing skin all over social media, and most of her followers are so here for it. Some critics, on the other hand, just couldn’t let her shine. In fact, one hater accused Remy of possibly bleaching her skin, but the rapper quickly put them in their place with the most epic clapback.

Sorry folks, Remy Ma is no Sammy Sosa. Remy posted a sexy photo of her posing in a black bodysuit with white thigh-high boots on Instagram when one of her followers slid in the comments section. “Look like you bleaching your #prettybrown skin,” they said, referring to her visibly glistening skin. 

Not amused by the comment, Remy immediately hit back. “Are you dumb?” she asked. “It’s called lighting.” The critic attempted to respond again, but the “Wake Me Up” artist already served them and went about minding her business.

Remy isn’t the first rapper to be accused of skin bleaching. Nicki Minaj has also been attacked on social media. Until there’s evidence of skin bleaching, fans should probably take Remy’s word for it. Check out the image and Remy’s clapback below.
