Elle Varner Releases New Song, 'Little Do You Know'
Elle Varner has a message for the love struck: "Seeing is believing, unless it's a magic show."
The line is just one of the many quotables from Varner's latest, "Little Do You Know," where the 25-year-old sings more on love's high and low points.
The Los Angeles-born, BET Music Matters star wraps a raspy vocal around the bluesy yet funky instrumental and quickly builds the love scene over the track. "I been out. I been showing my face/I been laughing, I been drinking, just enough to cover up the pain," she sings behind a bass guitar.
The track follows "See Me Tonight" and "Cold Case" as the third out of four new songs Varner is releasing to promote her 4 Letter Word album. She has yet to unveil that last of the four tracks.
Different from her 2012 debut Perfectly Imperfect, Varner has promised that 4 Letter World will be more mature and "sexier" than her older music.
The new album is slated for release sometime this year.
