The couple headed to Johannesburg this past weekend to headline the Global Citizen Festival. The star-studded event featured performances by superstars such as Pharell Williams, Ed Sheeran, Usher and Chris Martin.
The festival was held in celebration of the late Nelson Mandelaâs 100th birthday. To honor the late South African president and activist, Bey carefully celebrated the continent's legacy and diversity through her costumes.
Ahead of her jaw-dropping performance, BeyoncĂŠ even penned a heartfelt letter to the late Nelson Mandela, reminiscing about meeting him for the first time back in 2004.

In true Bey form, her costumes featured sequin, crystals, beads, tons of drama and looks that showed off her perfect curves.
