Ray J’s Response To His ‘Love & Hip Hop’ Hat Meme Is Absolutely Hilarious
Ray J is currently having a moment on social media — or rather, his beanie is.
In case you missed it, the R&B singer-turned-reality star recently sparked the latest viral craze when a fan noticed his hat moved several times in several different frames in a matter of seconds. The moment has since sparked what is now being dubbed as the #RayJHatChallenge, and the creator, himself, spoke with TMZ about what he thinks of the attention.
The video that started it all was taken from the latest episode of Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood where Ray J was having a conversation with his castmate Safaree.

Speaking with TMZ, Ray J explained, "My hat and my head was trying to connect, right?"
He went on to add that due to the nature of the conversation he was having with Safaree, both he and his now virally recognized hat were "stressing" for 90 minutes, straight.
"This hat had a mind of its own," he said. "I gotta go talk to the hat."
Well, it seems as he's right about his hat having its own personality as, following the craze sparked by the reality TV moment, an Instagram account has been created, solely dedicated to the infamous beanie in question:
