Takeoff's Aunt, Kashara Reed, Wants Her Nephew's Killer 'By Any Means'
Quavo’s older sister, Kashara Reed, went public on Monday to let Takeoff’s fans know that she is willing to do whatever was necessary to find her nephew’s killer.
Reed shared the heartfelt message to her Instagram stories on Monday.
"Find out who did this to my nephew,” she wrote. “By any means.”
The 28-year-old rapper was tragically gunned down at a Houston, Texas, bowling alley earlier this month, according to BET.com. He was with his uncle and fellow Migos group mate, Quavo. The deceased rapper’s uncle had gotten into an argument with a group of men minutes before gunfire erupted, killing Takeoff. The incident happened over an alleged dice game gone bad.
Kashara, Quavo and Takeoff were close, according to Instagram posts by the grieving sister and aunt.
In July, she posted a supportive message to the rappers as their latest project was about to drop.
“Heat!!!!! “F*ck the other shi*t. I’m going for the WIN” @quavohuncho @yrntakeoff 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥,” Kashara wrote.
The wife and mother also shouted out her baby brother who iced out her neck with an extravagant diamond necklace.
One thing about my brother, he gon always come solid bout me!! @quavohuncho I appreciate everything you do for me from the smallest to the biggest! 🤞🏾🙏🏾🎯 BIG ONE 🙌🏾”
