50 Cent, Tony Yayo and Lloyd Banks Star in '9 Shots'

We get a taste of the street life in Fif's latest visual.

50 Cent’s Street King Immortal could be coming this year. After supplying his fans with a banger called “Get Low,” he takes it back to his roots on the second single, “9 Shots.” The visuals, directed by Eif Rivera, shows a hustler who let his greed get the best of him.

The video serves as mini-film. The opening scene shows Fif hassling Tony Yayo for money in a deserted parking lot. When Yayo tells 50 that it’s for a re-up (re-stocking his supply of drugs), things go downhill pretty quickly. The G-Unit rapper pulls a gun on Yayo, steals his jewelry and money, and ends his life. Throughout the whole seven-minute short, we’re following 50 keep a straight face as he tells his homies the bad news about Yayo. Lloyd Banks, however, catches on to 50’s lies and decides he needs to be dealt with.

“9 Shots” has been getting such a good reception from fans that 50 is planning to put out another street mixtape “in the next couple weeks.”

"Ima take it back. I gotta go back to original style," he said. "New production, new energy, but I've got my finger on the pulse of what's going on. The response I've get from '9 Shots' made me feel like you're gonna love what I'm gonna come with right after this. I'm gonna keep going. It ain't gonna stop. It's gonna be one after the next one until I put the record out. So I've been working.”
So there's a lot more 50 music on the way. Stay tuned.
