T.I. Discusses Young Thug's Situation With Lil Wayne

The ATLien briefly gives his two cents on the battle between the two rappers.

Over the past few weeks, we've seen Lil Wayne become increasingly frustrated with the fact that Young Thug had decided to name his upcoming project Tha Barter VI (originally Tha Carter VI). One may see this as honoring one of his musical influences, but since Weezy's Tha Carter V is being held up by his label, it's become more of an insult. Now, T.I. has said a little bit about where Thugga is coming from.

"I asked Thugga myself, man, 'Hey, hey, bro... whatcha doing? What's going on?' He basically said, 'Everybody [is] making it a whole lot more. I mean I'm doing it to pay homage, that's my favorite rapper.' That's what he told me," Tip told DJ Whoo Kid.
And although the outcome of the drama connected to Tha Barter VI is yet to be seen, with a sense of humor, T.I. said that he'll be "sitting around watching in amazement like everybody else."
