Last Friday BET.com reported that Nick Cannon announced he was cancelling his radio show due to more health issues.

He tweeted, "A bitter sweet morning. I have to stop my radio show Doctors orders. The Doctors found blood clots in my lungs and said if I don't slow down and stop working so hard then it's a wrap!"

Back in January, Cannon was hospitalized for kidney failure.

Lung clots, also known as pulmonary embolisms, are blockages in one of more arteries in the lungs. It's caused by blood clots that travel to your lungs from another part of your body — most commonly, your legs.

 According to the Mayo Clinic, common signs and symptoms include:
 
•    Shortness of breath. This symptom typically appears suddenly, and occurs whether you're active or at rest.
 
•    Chest pain. You may feel like you're having a heart attack. The pain may become worse when you breathe deeply, cough, eat, bend or stoop. The pain will get worse with exertion but won't go away when you rest.
 
•    Cough. The cough may produce bloody or blood-streaked [mucus].
 
If you have any of these symptoms, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

 Other signs and symptoms that can occur are:

— Wheezing
— Leg-swelling, usually in only one leg
— Clammy or bluish-colored skin
— Excessive sweating
— Rapid or irregular heartbeat
— Weak pulse
— Lightheadedness or fainting

Lung clots are very serious. Back in December, it was revealed that rapper Heavy D died from complications of a pulmonary embolism.
