One high school student wanted to make sure that neither her nor her date's prom was just another average school dance.

Channeling her inner Beyoncé, this student organized a special performance of "Formation" leading up to revealing her dress and eventually greeting her date. 

True to the details, in addition to recruiting a couple of her friends to help deliver the track's choreography, there also were black and yellow balloons (representing the #BeyHive) and fake smoke to top off the performance.

One person can hilariously be heard in the video commenting on the drawn-out ordeal saying, "The prom is going to be over by the time they get done makin' that poor man stand there and watch that B.S."

While it is quite possible that her date wasn't as big of a fan of Beyoncé as she is, it is still quite epic that she began celebrating her prom night this way. It may even be safe to say she had more fun putting this together than she did attending the actual event itself. Either way, her incredible Lemonade-inspired pre-prom entrance was captured on film for all of us to enjoy.
