Jimmie Allen and Wife Alexis Welcome Their Third Child
Jimmie Allen and his estranged wife, Alexis Gale, are celebrating the arrival of their third child.
Gale posted pictures of their new bundle of joy, Cohen Ace James, on Instagram this Tuesday, disclosing in the caption that he was born on September 27. The adorable images feature the baby swaddled and shots of their daughters, 3-year-old Naomi Bettie and 11-month-old Zara James, cradling their new sibling.
The news follows Allen and Gale's joint announcement in April about both expecting a baby and deciding to separate. Concurrently, the country singer is amid a countersuit against two women who have lodged sexual assault lawsuits against him, according to USA Today.
In a July interview with People, the "Best Shot" singer shared that the couple, who married in 2020, were actively addressing their relationship issues amid the pending divorce case. Additionally, he addressed the ongoing legal challenges he is facing. Allen told People, "The divorce case is still pending, as my wife and I are working to resolve things together as a family. What I meant by 'fixing my family first,' was making sure their mental health and stability are OK in light of these hurtful, false allegations," he said. "I took some time off to be with my wife, kids and friends to ensure everyone was OK."
Now a rep for the couple tells PEOPLE that the Allen and Gale are still together and “they decided to work on things."
