T.I. Moves Past Floyd Mayweather Fight
T.I. has moved past his dust-up with Floyd Mayweather last month, and he's still not officially confirming (or denying) that anything happened. The married rapper was spotted out in New York Monday (June 2) but wouldn't speak much about the angry words he had with Mayweather, feigning amnesia.
"What happened?" the 32-year-old asked a TMZ cameraman. After a beat, he decided to give a quick statement. "This is one thing I will go on record to say, whatever did happen — if anything did happen — he may be used to talking after his fights, where I'm from we don't talk after ours," said Tip.
He added, "Now ain't nothing else to say. I move forward, I just know I'm pretty as a girl, I could take a picture 10 times over."
Tip was recorded confronting Mayweather during the Memorial Day weekend holiday. The reported issue was over photos of the Tip's wife, Tameka "Tiny" Harris, partying with the undefeated fighter.
A day later, Mayweather shared his side of the story. The 37-year-old squashed rumors that he and Tiny had a romantic relationship, and said that Tip would be a "fool" to try and swing on him.
T.I. followed up Mayweather's statement with an Instagram video to show that he came out of the fight unscathed.
