Chrisean Rock’s Track Career: The Untold Story Before ‘Baddies’ Fame
Chrisean Rock, born Chrisean Malone, is widely known for her reality TV appearances and tumultuous relationship with rapper Blueface. Still, her athletic prowess in track and field is a lesser-known chapter of her early life. Growing up with 11 siblings in Baltimore, Maryland, Chrisean began running track at a young age and became a standout athlete. Competing for Arundel High School in Gambrills, Maryland, she excelled as a sprinter and relay runner, posting personal records of 12.96 seconds in the 100 meters and 26.82 seconds in the 200 meters by her junior year.
Her versatility extended to field events like shot put and long jump, but she would go on to compete in the Junior Olympics at age 17 as a runner. After high school, she briefly attended Santa Monica College in California and, according to athletic.net, later placed third in the 200 meters and fifth in the 100 meters at separate meets while running for Feather River Community College in Quincy, California.
Her athleticism didn’t go unnoticed, and in 2020, she won $10,000 on the FOX reality competition show Ultimate Tag after completing the course in 50 seconds.
More recently, the “Baddies” star ventured into football, serving as a running back in an Influencer Football League (IFL) game alongside Blueface, who played quarterback. In April 2024, she appeared back on the track, sharing footage of her running and stretching on TikTok.
Despite her athletic talents, Chrisean Rock’s recent life has been marred by legal issues. In June, she was arrested in connection with a 2022 incident in Oklahoma, where she faced charges of drug possession with intent to distribute. After being released from jail in September 2024, Rock shared an emotional post on social media, reflecting on her absence from her son's first birthday and expressing gratitude for her freedom. She emphasized her journey toward personal growth and spirituality, and her socials and music career have both reflected a heavy Christian influence since.
