Jay-Z Hoping to Sign NHL Prospect to Roc Nation Sports
Jay-Z is usually found courtside at a Nets game, but hockey might be his next sports obsession. Hov reportedly wants to sign NHL hopeful Seth Jones to Roc Nation Sports.
Jones is the son of retired NBA player Popeye Jones and is already repped by management powerhouse CAA, the company partnered with the Roc's sport division.
"When Seth comes to the NHL draft [in Newark, NJ] in June, his family, agents at CAA and Roc Nation are going to have a powwow to see if he’ll sign with them,” a source told the New York Post.
If the intel is accurate, Jones will be added to a growing roster of Roc athletes that now includes WNBA player Tulsa Shock guard Skylaar Diggins, the company announced today.
