Cardi B Says ‘Enough Is Enough’ In Newly Released Song
Cardi B’s highly-anticipated return is in full swing.
Released on Thursday night (March 7), Cardi teased what could possibly be her next single in a TikTok video, Billboard reports.
On the unnamed track, Cardi is putting everyone on notice that she is not the one to play with.
“Me vs. you and you know who they pickin’,” Cardi raps on the unnamed track. “I can survive in the coldest conditions… B*tches is washed, soapin’ the dishes/ I apply pressure like boa constrictors/ One b*tch, two b*tch, old b*tch, new b*tch,
none of y’all not gonna do s–t/ I’m in Miami I pull up on cruise ships.”
As the track continues, Cardi serves the ultimate punchline, rapping, “I see my opps linking up, I’m like, ‘What the f–k?/ If you scared, then just say that hoe/ Enough is enough.”
While no additional information about the song has been revealed, the caption of her TikTok post read “15”, along with a winking emoji. The caption led many to speculate that the track may be released on March 15 (Friday).
The song is a follow-up to the release of her “Like What (Freestyle)” which was inspired by Missy Elliot’s classic 1998 song “She’s a B*tch.” In the visual for the song, directed by Offset, her now ex-husband, Cardi looks stunning in several sexy outfits as she reminds everyone of her status as a boss in the game.
Her fans have been imploring her to drop her highly-anticipated sophomore project, it seems as though Cardi is finally ready to give them what they want.
Released in 2018, “Invasion of Privacy” debuted at the number one spot on US Billboard 200 and has been certified quadruple platinum
The album produced several hit singles including "Bodak Yellow", "Be Careful", and "I Like It.”
