Jeezy and Jeannie Mai Finalize Divorce, Case Placed Under Seal
Jeezy and Jeannie Mai have officially closed the door on their marriage, finalizing their divorce on Tuesday. The update comes less than a year after the rapper and the talk show host’s highly publicized and tumultuous separation.
According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, the outlet that first broke the news, the Superior Court of Fulton County in Georgia has sealed the details of the case, including arrangements for child support and custody, spousal support, and property splits.
Jeezy filed for divorce last September, two and a half years after marrying Jeannie Mai in a small ceremony at their Atlanta home in March 2021.
At the time of the filing, the emcee released a statement noting that the “decision to end this chapter in my life was not made impulsively and came with a heavy heart.”
In the months following the separation, former The Real host accused her estranged husband of infidelity, physical abuse, and child neglect. However, the Grammy-nominated artist denied those allegations on social media.
The former couple are parents to a 2-year-old daughter named Monaco.
