Google Highlights Black-Owned Businesses With T-Pain And Normani “Black Owned Friday” Song And Video
Black Friday is right around the corner and Google is highlighting Black-owned businesses with the help of T-Pain and R&B songstress, Normani.
It’s that time of the year again, when retail sales ascend to projected heights and Google’s initiative for their second annual Black Owned Friday to change the way consumers shop on Nov. 26. For the shoppable film, T-pain and Normani both wrote and performed the original track in the video.
The film features 100 products from more than 50 Black-owned businesses, including Talley & Twine, Partake Cookies, Redoux, Red Bay Coffee, People Of Color Beauty Nail Polish, BLK & Bold Speciality Coffee.
The melanin-filled video boasts an array of color palettes and also stars singer-songwriter Tanerélle, comedian Desi Banks and directed by Daps. The businesses can be found here.
