T.J. Holmes And Amy Robach Will Remain Off-Air Amid Pending ‘Internal Review’
There appears to be no return date for T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach on ABC’s Good Morning America and GMA3.
According to TMZ, Kim Godwin, the president of ABC News, sent an email to staffers that read in part, “Amy and T.J. will remain off-air pending the completion of an internal review, and there will be a rotation of anchors at GMA3 for the time being.”
Goodwin added, “It is my hope that we will continue to focus our energy on what we do best, and I want all of you to know how immensely proud I am of your hard work and professionalism.”
U.S. Weekly has reported that 44-year-old journalist Demarco Morgan will replace Holmes on Good Morning America.
After reports surfaced that T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach, both married, were involved in an affair, the GMA hosts were pulled off the air on Dec. 5. Additional reports have surfaced that Holmes had affairs with multiple women. Holmes and Robach have yet to make a public statement.
Holmes has been married to Marilee Fiebig since 2010, but they reportedly separated over the summer. Robach and her husband, Andrew Shue, also wed in 2010 and appear to have also separated this past summer.
