Dwayne Johnson Gets Biblical In Trailer For New Superhero Film ‘Black Adam’
He claims the film will “change the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe.”
Dwayne Johnson is returning to the big screen in the superhero film Black Adam.
In the trailer, Johnson said about his character, who is a 5,000-year-old warrior that is released to the modern world after being impisoned in a tomb, said, “I was a slave until I died. Then I was reborn a god. My son sacrificed his life to save me… Now I kneel before no one.”
Johnson wrote about the movie on Instagram, “This passion project has become my DNA and the hierarchy of power in the DC Universe will change.”
The film also includes Aldis Hodge as Hawkman, Noah Centineo as Atom Smasher, and Quintessa Swindell as Cyclone.
Directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, the movie hits theaters on Oct. 21.
