'America's Got Talent' Contestant Tragically Dies at 29
A contestant on the current season of America's Got Talent has tragically died.
According to TMZ, Dr. Brandon Rogers, who garnered a promising social media following with his Boyz II Men covers, lost his life in a car accident in Maryland over the weekend. After being transported to a local hospital after the crash, he was pronounced dead on Sunday.
The R&B supergroup took to Facebook upon hearing the news to pay tribute to Dr. Rogers, 29, who was clearly one of their biggest fans.
"Today our hearts are deeply saddened to learn about the sudden death of Dr. Brandon Rogers in a car accident," they wrote. "A few months back we brought this young man out to the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas to perform with us. He was great all 3 nights! Just a genuinely nice person and a really good singer!"

Dr. Rogers's episode was scheduled to air next month. According to Page Six, a rep for AGT did not immediately respond to their request for comment.
