Calvin and Miranda Rekindle Old Feelings on 'House of Payne' While Curtis and Floyd’s Feud Escalates

As Miranda cares for a sick Christian, she and Calvin start reminiscing, sparking old emotions. Meanwhile, Curtis and Floyd’s business fallout continues, and a surprise confession leaves Calvin torn between Miranda and Laura.

On this episode of "House of Payne," things take a turn when Miranda stops by to care for Christian, who’s been under the weather while Laura is away. Once Christian heads to bed, Calvin and Miranda share a glass of wine, reminiscing about their early days together as a married couple. The nostalgia stirs up a bit too much familiarity, and as Calvin recalls his promise to “love her forever,” Miranda decides it’s best to call it a night, avoiding any further rekindling of old flames.

Meanwhile, Curtis and Floyd’s business drama resurfaces. CJ and Janine attempt to reconcile the two, tricking them into a meeting. But instead of mending fences, Curtis and Floyd reignite their argument over who owes whom money, leading to an unproductive clash. The tension underscores just how hard it will be for these two to repair their friendship.

As the episode progresses, Calvin confesses to CJ that he’s torn—still in love with Miranda, yet also committed to Laura. CJ doesn’t hold back, telling him he needs to figure things out before he marries Laura. Unknown to Calvin, Junior overhears the whole conversation, and when they get home, he lashes out, furious that his dad is “playing two women.” The argument escalates until a neighbor calls the police, and the episode ends with officers arriving at the house. We’ll have to wait and see what happens next.
