Danny Glover will make a guest appearance on "Psych," the USA television station's quirky detective comedy this fall.

The "Lethal Weapon" actor, according to Entertainment Weekly, will play a manager of a minor league team who looks for investigative assistance from "Psych" cast member Shawn, played by James Roday, when the team’s hitting coach mysteriously drops dead.

Elsewhere, Glover took to the streets on May 13 to protest outside of Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, PA in support of health workers in the midst of contract negotiations.

"I'm here to support that effort here, and the men and women who are right now under siege," Glover told local press. "Working men and women who are under siege, who have been devastated by this economy as it is, and who find their wages stagnant, who find their health care and also their retirement and pensions in danger. I'm here to support their efforts to reclaim their rightful position of entitlement as workers."
