Tito Jackson's Sons Share Heartfelt Tribute Following Their Dad’s Passing
Tito Jackson’s three sons, Taj, TJ, and Taryll, have paid a heartfelt tribute to their father following his unexpected death.
In a joint statement, accompanied by a carousel of vintage photos of the boys with their father, uploaded to their band 3T’s Instagram page, they wrote, “It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that our beloved father, Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Tito Jackson, is no longer with us.”
“We are shocked, saddened, and heartbroken. Our father was an incredible man who cared about everyone and their well-being," they continued. "Some of you may know him as Tito Jackson from the legendary Jackson 5, some may know him as 'Coach Tito' or some know him as 'Poppa T.' Nevertheless, he will be missed tremendously.”
The siblings concluded their note, sharing, “It will forever be 'Tito Time' for us. Please remember to do what our father always preached, and that is 'Love One Another.' We love you Pops,” before signing off, “Your boys.”
The legendary musician’s death was confirmed by his nephew Siggy Jackson. According to Entertainment Tonight, who first reported the news, the “Get It Baby” singer died on Sunday, Sept. 15, after suffering an apparent heart attack.
