According to a social media post made Tuesday (October 17), the D.C. rapper surprised fans by announcing he’ll be dropping new music this week and breaking his “silence.”

Additionally, Wale cleared his entire IG feed, perhaps signaling it’s a new era in his musical career.
Outside of lending his voice to features here and there, Wale hasn’t dropped much in the way of music over the past two years. His last full-length LP was 2021’s Folarin II, which boasted the singles “Angles” (with Chris Brown) and “Poke It Out” (with J. Cole).
