Sterling "Steelo" Brim, star of MTV series Ridiculousness, just lost his 3-year-old nephew in a fatal accident that occurred at his North Hollywood home.

According to TMZ, the toddler, whose family was visiting the TV star from Chicago, wandered into Brim's backyard last Friday morning when adults weren't looking and fell into the swimming pool where he drowned. It remains unclear for how long he remained in the pool until he was found.

Once he was discovered, paramedics rushed to the residence and took him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after noon on that same day.

Brim spoke out on the incident that has since been ruled an "accidental drowning," telling TMZ, "Last weekend, my beloved nephew passed away in a tragic accident. We will miss him dearly and ask for prayers and privacy during this time of mourning."
