Young Vito Denied Bail in Slim Dunkin Murder Case
Atlanta rapper Young Vito, who has been charged with last month's murder of Brick Squad member Slim Dunkin, was denied bond yesterday and returned to jail, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
Vito, born Vince Hardimon, 28, is awaiting trial on first-degree murder and gun possession charges. He is accused of slaying Dunkin on December 16 with a gunshot to the chest. The two had reportedly been engaged in an argument that began over a piece of candy.
Hardimon turned himself in to police in late December. He has been arrested multiple times in the past for aggravated assault and weapons charges.
Dunkin, dead at 24, was a childhood friend of Waka Flocka Flame and appeared on songs with both he and Gucci Mane.
