Police in Houston are investigating a possible hate crime after a Black teenage boy said he was kidnapped from a bus stop on Monday afternoon by a group of white supremacists.

When 13-year-old Zavion Parker didn’t come home from school this week, his mother, Michelle Lee, immediately called police. However, before officers began a search for the teen, he was found in distressed condition, reported ABC 13.

Parker told authorities he was approached by five white teenage boys after he got off the school bus. The boys forced Parker into a four-door car with flames on the side, according to the teen.

Parker also said there was one adult male driver with red hair in the car. According to Parker, the man had a tattoo on his arm that read: "I hate black people."

The suspects allegedly took Parker to a vacant house, where they took his jacket, shoes, phone and keys. Parker said the suspects physically assaulted him while they were in the abandoned home.

Lee says she received threatening messages from her sons' phone saying they were going to "kill him."

“We’re going to hang him. You’re going to find him in the morning,” read one of the messages.

Parker was able to escape when the group went into another room to load an alleged gun. As soon as they left, Parker ran for his life.

After Parker escaped, a woman named Camecia Carmouche, who was driving down the street, spotted the teen and asked if he was alright. When she saw his condition, Carmouche immediately called police.

“His face was puffed up. He had scratches. His shirt was ripped. He had no shoes on,” Carmouche told ABC 13.

She also said Parker told her that the bodies of other Black men or boys were in the shack;  that has not yet been confirmed.

Parker is safe and recovering, doing better.

Lee says she won’t feel comfortable until her son’s attackers are caught. Lee also warns parents to keep a close watch of their children.

While some people have cast doubts on Parker’s allegations, police were recently led to the shack described by the boy. At the scene, investigators discovered shell casings, a wooden chair and other weapons.
