Snoop Dogg Gets Into The Hot Dog Business With ‘Snoop Doggs’ Brand
Snoop Dogg is moving into the hot dog business and reportedly planning to launch a specialty product called “Snoop Doggs.”
In December of last year, Snoop applied for federal trademark registration on the term “Snoop Doggs” with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, according to a legal filing at the federal trademark office, Billboard reports.
The rapper reportedly wants to sell both hotdogs and a variety of sausages.
While he hasn’t launched the food brand yet, the trademark registration was filed as a so-called intent-to-use application.
In case you missed it, Snoop has had his hand in several culinary entrepreneurial ventures since 2015 when he launched his cannabis company Leafs By Snoop. The “Gin and Juice” rapper has also released his own cookbook in 2018 that was a culmination of 50 of his “platinum recipes”
In 2020, he unveiled his liquor line Indoggo Gin.
Snoop isn’t the first rapper to dip into the gourmet meats industry, in Oct. 2021, E-40 partnered with Justin Kinder of Kinder’s Meats, Deli and BBQ to introduce his new line of packaged sausages, under his Goon with the Spoon brand.
