Dwyane Wade's court battle with his ex-wife took a turn in his favor.

The NBA star has been given permission by a Florida judge to relocate his two oldest sons, Ziare, 14, and Zion, 9, from Florida to Chicago. This is the latest installment in the drama that Wade and his ex-wife, Siovaugh Funches, have been living through since Wade filed for divorce in 2007. 

The judge granted Wade permission after saying "there is no good cause not to permit the relocation" and even agreed that the children will still travel to Atlanta, where Funches currently lives, for timesharing visits.

This may mark an end to the divorce drama that has waged on for nearly a decade, filled with many twists and turns, including an incident where Funches was arrested for allegedly trying to abduct their children.

In the past, Funches has accused Wade of abusing her, giving her an STD, being a bad father and trying to alienate her from her children. Funches also believed the final ruling that gave Wade full custody was due to his celebrity, saying, "I think influence had a lot to do with it...Celebrity had a lot to do with it. Money had a lot to do with it."

Just as Funches had accusations, so too did Wade, who wrote in his book, "Siohvaughn is a most loving, caring mother and the boys love and adore her just as they do me." Adding, "But it had become clear to me... that she was going to disregard orders and throw up every and any excuse to keep me from seeing them."

It appears that while the judge was able to come to a final ruling, these two will certainly never see eye-to-eye when it comes to what is best for their children.
