Patti LaBelle Heads To ‘Drinks Champs’ For New Episode
Patti LaBelle is headed over to the popular Drink Champs and is sure to be a treat!
On Monday (July 25), the one-minute teaser of the upcoming episode shows the 78-year-old singer cracking jokes leaving hosts N.O.R.E and DJ EFN unable to control their laughter.
“So what I gotta do — smoke reefer?,” the Godmother of Soul asks, opting for bottles of champagne instead.
The iconic songstress shares memories about some of the latest and greatest including her relationship with Aretha Franklin and how Luther Vandross used to steal clothes.
Later in the teaser trailer, Nore asks Auntie Patti if she’d heard Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s “WAP.” She replied, “I heard it. I said, ‘Go girls,’” as she hilariously pushed back her bangs. The Grammy Award-winning artist also shared that she felt cleansed being on Drink Champs.
“I cleansed myself today on this show. I said a lot of things that I probably shouldn’t have but I don’t care. I said it and I feel good about being here,” she shared.
The full episode arrives this Thursday (July 28) on REVOLT and will be available on YouTube by Saturday (July 30).
