Rapper/Actor Tone-Loc Arrested for Domestic Violence \r
It's possible Tone-Loc really is a little loco. The raspy voice rapper/actor who found huge success with the 1980s “Funky Cold Medina” and “Wild Thing” singles apparently has wilded out again. TMZ reports police were called to a Burbank, CA, apartment building yesterday afternoon and Loc was taken to jail on $50,000 bail.
Loc, who was nominated for four Grammys back in the day, has had his share of success and setback over the years. His acting career seemed to have been taking off in the 1990s, with films like Jim Carrey’s Ace Ventura: The Pet Detective and Heat, which starred Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. But then he appeared in the news last December for allegedly driving under the influence. According the former rap star, he wasn’t drunk but had a seizure.
As of this posting, there are no new reports on whether the 45-year-old California native has been able to post bail.
