Jermaine Dupri Confirms That Unreleased Usher Track Is Finally Available
There will be more music from Usher on the way.
Jermaine Dupri confirmed that “Believe,” an unreleased track from 2019 that was left off Usher’s “COMING HOME” album is currently available.
Dupri shared the exciting news on X (formerly Twitter) after fans expressed their dismay when the song was not included on Usher’s ninth album.
“Yo!!! For everyone commenting on this post, for everyone that’s sent me a message about this song,” Dupri’s post read on Wednesday (February 21). “I was just told it will be available on Friday, “BELIEVE” this Friday [two red exclamation points emoji]”
Billboard also reported that “Believe,” along with another track titled “Naked” will be a part of the upcoming reissue of “Coming Home” (Expanded Edition).
Dupri shared on social media that all those who wanted the song to be released can now access it and that he needs them to bring the same energy to boost the streams on Friday (Feb.23).
“Ok !! as much as y’all was posting about it not being on the album, now that it’s here. we need that same energy letting everybody know it’s out “Believe” run it up," Dupri’s post read.
After his thrilling Super Bowl performance that featured Dupri and several others, Usher reminded everyone why he is considered one of the greatest artists of his generation.
His highly-anticipated album Coming Home debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and at No. 1 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums. Also, the LP landed at No. 1 on the Top Album Sales chart this week (ending Feb. 24).
If that wasn’t enough, the eight-time Grammy winner married his girlfriend Jennifer "Jenn" Goicoechea in Las Vegas before rocking the Super Bowl stage.
