In May, Young Jeezy made the announcement that "the real is back" with his DJ Drama-hosted mixtape and title track of the same name and it's looking like he's going to hold up that declaration.
After a long three-year wait, his highly anticipated fourth studio album, Thug Motivation 103, will finally hit stores on September 20. In expectation of the release, The Source magazine has tapped him as the cover subject for their August/September issue.
In the cover story, the Snowman, who recently celebrated the six-year anniversary of his debut, Thug Motivation 101, with Jay-Z, Kanye West, Bun B, Fabolous and The Lox at a show at New York's Highline Ballroom, talks about rap beef and the high expectations surrounding the album.
"I think they deserve a classic," said Jeezy, referring to his fans. "They've waited long enough. I think that every record on this album is an anthem."
The August/September issue of The Source hits newsstands August 23.
