2021 Soul Train Awards: 3 Times We Couldn’t Take Our Eyes Off Hosts Tisha Campbell And Tichina Arnold
Best friends and sisters in comedy Tisha Campbell and Tichina Arnold returned for the fourth time to host the 2021 Soul Train Awards. During this year’s ceremony, the Martin stars really raised the bar with a show opener that took audience members on a musical journey from past to present--they even invited some of the prominent figures in the soul genre. The costumes were breathtaking and the jokes left us falling out of our seats.

Tisha and Tichina take viewers on a musical journey from past to present
The comedic duo got the musical celebration started with a performance of a medley of songs including “It Don’t Mean A Thing,” “Dancing In The Street,” “Dancing Machine.” They were later joined by music legend El DeBarge, for a special performance of “Rhythm of The Night.” The ladies ended things with the “Real Love” remix, and “Have Mercy.”

Tisha had viewers on the floor in laughter after the actress portrayed game show host Steve Harvey in a bright yellow suit. Tichina mingled among event guests to see who could bring the soul. The ladies even gave singer-songerwiter PJ Morton a try.
