Steph Curry's Mom Drilled A Half-Court Shot And Had Everyone Burst Into Cheers
Apparently, Steph Curry and his NBA brother and father, Seth and Dell, aren’t the only ones with skills on the court.
During a Curry Family Foundation event at the Carole Hoefener Center to kick off All-Star Weekend, the first family of basketball was divided into four teams for a shooting contest.
Stephen and his wife, Ayesha, made up the first time, while his brother, Portland Trail Blazers guard Seth and his fiancée, Callie Rivers made up the second team. Warriors reserve guard Damion Lee and his wife, Steph and Seth’s sister Sydel made up a third team while Dell and his wife Sonya made up the final team.
Each team was also joined by another player as part of an All-Star Saturday event in which the group had to make a layup, free throw, 3-pointer, and half-court shot.
As time soon expired, Sonya drained a game-winning, underhand half-court shot and the crowd went wild.
Previously, we brought you the story of recreation center the event went down in. Courtesy of the Stephen and Ayesha Curry Family Foundation who partnered with Under Armour and Chase, completed the renovation of the Carole Hoefener Center in the heart of Uptown Charlotte. See pictures of it here.
