LeBron James Put Up a Historic Stat Line in Game 2

The King is in the record books after notching 35 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists.

LeBron James keeps finding ways to outdo his own greatness...and he'll have to if the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to defeat the Golden State Warriors in these NBA Finals.

King James joined Hall of Famer James Worthy as the only two players in Finals' history to notch at least 35 points, 15 rebounds and 10 assists, totaling a triple-double of 39 points, 16 boards and 11 dimes to lead the Cavs to a 95-93 overtime victory over the Warriors in Game 2 on Sunday night. The Cavs, most notably guard Matthew Dellavedova, stifled NBA MVP Stephen Curry into 5-of-23 shooting for 19 points.

This became the first Finals to start with back-to-back overtime games and the series is now tied 1-1 heading to Cleveland for Game 3 on Tuesday night.

Sunday night's performance marked James's fifth Finals' triple-double, trailing only Magic Johnson for most in championship-round history.

"I tried to give it all to my teammates. And they do a great job of giving it back to me. Total team effort," James told the Associated Press following Game 2. "To be back in the same position we were in three days ago and to come back and even the series is big time."
