Holding down the fort for the White House staff is Ptosha Storey, who plays Nancy Hallsen, wife of the White House butler Richard and mother of their son Barry.     Storey is a Dallas, Texas native who graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts, where Erykah Badu was a classmate.

    Storey holds a fine arts degree from Southern Methodist University located in the Dallas suburb University Park.

  3. For Her First Role, She Got To Act Alongside A Legend

    Her first official acting credit was a made-for-television movie The Road to Galveston where she got to work with none other than Cicely Tyson. They reunited at the Tyler Perry Studios gala for the first time in over 20 years.

  4. She’s Got Influential Friends In Hollywood

    Ptosha (pronounced Tow-sha) counts Taraji P. Henson as a sistafriend from way back. They have acted together in Acrimony, Storey’s first feature film role, and Empire.

  5. Her Son Is Already In The Family Business!

    Her son Jordan is a 2016 University of Southern California grad who has already scored acting roles on Lil Rel, Shameless and NCIS: Los Angeles.
