Leon Bridges, who hails from Fort Worth, Texas, is a new R&B singer/songwriter you should watch out for.

At just 25 years old, he can be considered a retro-soul artist that fits in tune with the palate of today’s listeners. He was one of many must-see acts this year at SXSW and plans to get a bigger spotlight with his forthcoming debut album, Coming Home. The ten-track offering will be a proper introduction to the budding soul musician.

Today, Bridges releases a video for his breakout song “Better Man.” The clip doesn’t deviate too much from what we’re used to seeing him do, which is let his talent as a performer speak for itself. Backed by a live band, he draws us in with little effort.
