There's no denying Matt Barnes is excited by the birth of his youngest son Ashton, but a recent post of his son's circumcision has some saying the father is doing too much. 

In a recent Instagram post, which was deleted before getting re-shared by The YBF, Barnes shared an image of his son Ashton getting circumcised. 

"Watching your son being circumcised isn't for the faint hearted. But Ash is a trooper, he's good now. Thank you Dr. Andy Shpall for the great work," captioned Barnes. 

Baby Ashton was born over the weekend to Barnes and his girlfriend, Anansa Sims. 

Immediately, people began questioning why the image was posted to Instagram at all.

"Everyone doesn’t need to see this Mfs don’t want to be private anymore," commented @the.shony.b.

Others questioned why the procedure wasn't done in a hospital and if it needs to be done at all.

"Um us regular folks let the physicians do it in the hospital the day after they are born. And i wouldn’t want to watch AT ALL! Whew!," wrote @rochellerene.

"One day as an nursing assistant, i floated to the nursery. I had to retrieve the babies from the mothers and bring them for their circumcisions😩 I spent 6 hours watching circumcisions, i can’t do it to my son," responded @junezpearl.
