Snoop Dogg Regrets Missing Daughter's Birth
Snoop Dogg is now a family man, as previously chronicled on the reality show based on his life as a dad called Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood. Still, with a multi-faceted career and the party life that encourages it, the rapper says he couldn’t be everywhere all the time. Now, he looks back at some of those party moments with shame.
In an interview with VIBE magazine, Snoop Dogg says he regrets missing the birth of his daughter, Cori Broadus. He explained, "I regret not being there when my baby girl was born. I was there for both of my boys. I was out and about, ripping and running, doing too much. The precautions I take now are because of her.”
Snoop says now more than ever he realizes the importance of family. He added, "When it all goes bad and there's no more success, no more cameras, no more videos, no more people wanting autographs or music, it comes down to who really loves you. It's nobody but yourself and your family. That's what's really important to me."
Last year, Snoop along with his wife, Shante, revealed that their daughter Cori suffered from Lupus. The couple used the opportunity to bring awareness to the disease.
