Viola Davis Reacts To TikTokers Making “Walking Like Annalise Keating” Videos
Viola Davis' award-winning performance as Annalise Keating in the ABC primetime thriller, How to Get Away with Murder, has been co-opted by Gen-Z TikTokers.
The hit series aired from 2014 to 2020 and follows a law professor (Davis as Keating) who becomes intertwined into a murder plot with five of her students. Now, these innovative internet creatives have taken to the social media platform not to rave about Davis' skills, but to focus on how mean her character's walk is.
“I see y’all,” Davis tweeted with laughing emojis and a video attached responding to her. “#AnnaliseKeating #HTGAWM”
“As I said I want to be a real woman. If I can be a real woman if I don’t have to walk around in heels,” she said, as she giggled. “Because I know y’all talk about me walking in my heels. And that’s a little f**** up of y’all. But I get it.”
