Host extraordinaire Taraji P. Henson captivated audiences as the host of the BET Awards 2024, kicking off her duties with a humorous spoof of Kendrick Lamar's hit "Not Like Us." 

Throughout the evening, amid over half a dozen wardrobe changes, the Golden Globe-winning star urged guests to educate themselves on “Project 2025,” a conservative initiative known as the Presidential Transition Project. Assembled by the Heritage Foundation in 2022, this project outlines policy proposals, and potential administration picks for a future Republican presidency, particularly if Donald J. Trump is re-elected. Henson emphasized the importance of understanding these proposals and voting in the upcoming elections. 

Despite the serious message, the actress ensured the night was packed with hilarious moments, promoting love and unity during culture's biggest celebration.
