It's hard to imagine a T-Pain song without Auto-Tune, but that's just what music listeners will be hearing. The singer/songwriter/producer has vowed never to use the Auto-Tune effect again, according to allhiphop.com. Instead, T-Pain will be introducing his own vocal processor, The T-Pain Effect.

"I'm onto something that I think is bigger and better," T-Pain said. "I vow right here, right now, to never use Auto-Tune again."

T-Pain helped to bring the Auto-Tune sound back to popularity when he rose to fame in 2005. He eventually partnered up with Antares Technology, responsible for Auto-Tune, for the "I Am T-Pain" app.

This newer technology is the result of a partnership between the artist and Izotope, a tech company who will be the exclusive provider for the T-Pain Effect, which will be unveiled at the NOX booth at the E3 conference on June 7th. Izotope will use its own vocal processing technology to develop T-Pain's new sound.
