Dwyane Wade Paints His Toenails

Pre-game pedicures? That might be what Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade is on. The NBA baller admitted to GQ magazine, "Three years ago I was like, 'Man, I kind of want to paint my toenails black.' At first I thought, 'Nah, I can't do that. They're going to kill me.' But eventually I decided to try it.”
Wade says a pedicurist at Miami’s Mondrian Hotel was shocked when he asked to get his tootsies polished, and so was his teammate, LeBron James, when he saw the finished product. "Later I was on vacation in the Bahamas with LeBron," Wade laughed, "and when he saw my toes he was like, 'Something is seriously wrong with you.' But eventually Bron was like, 'You know what? You're crazy, but that's just you.’”
We’re not sure if he’s making salon appointments with his girlfriend, Gabrielle Union, or if this was just a one-time thing, but to be sure, Wade has been getting more experimental with his style. He enlisted a stylist, Calyann Barnett, to help him transform his style from oversized jeans and T's to a more tailored “Euro” (his choice word) look.
Wade says his new style is partly fueled by being on a team with LeBron and Chris Bosh: “... they both dress well. It gets competitive. If I don’t bring my A-game, they’re going to outshine me.” Dressing up also helps him get into the game: “When I pick out my outfits before a game, I’m already feeling confident,” he continued, “and some of that swagger stays with me when I take the court.”
Apparently a little Essie or OPI (we wonder what his favorite brand of polish is?) only made him feel that much more polished.
