Evelyn Lozada Lands New Reality Show on OWN
Evelyn Lozada's claim to fame was the hit VH1 reality franchise Basketball Wives. Since taking a break from the show after five seasons, she is ready to get back into the reality circuit, but on a different network: OWN.
Lozada first appeared on the network in 2012 on Iyanla, Fix My Life after backlash for her behavior on Basketball Wives and her very public divorce and domestic violence incident with ex-husband Chad Ochocinco.
This time around however, the reality star is aiming for drama-free TV. According to TMZ, Lozada is set to star in a brand new reality series tentatively titled Evelyn with her LA Dodgers superstar fiancé, Carl Crawford. Her 21-year-old daughter Shaniece is also set to appear on the show, which Lozada is said to be executive producing.
Sources close to the show revealed that Evelyn will focus on the outspoken television personality's relationship with her daughter and Crawford and her journey through second-time motherhood with her new baby boy, Carl Leo Crawford Jr.
Evelyn is slated to premiere this July on the Oprah Winfrey Network.
