Fans Are Kicking Down Cassie's Door Over This Eyebrow-Raising Caption
After laying industry sweetheart Kim Porter to rest this past weekend, Diddy and those within his inner circle have either opted for privacy or are doing their best to proceed with some sense of normalcy. R&B singer and ex-girlfriend of the mogul, Cassie is among those attempting to resort back to her daily routine.
Recently, the "Must Be Love" songstress took to Instagram to promote her collaboration with famed digital boutique, Fashion Nova. However, fans immediately began to rain down heavy doses of shade over her caption.
It states, "...I’m a soul, you’re a soulmate... let’s get close, until we’re one thing...," followed by a "fingers crossed" emoji.
In light of the various ways her former partner has expressed that Kim was his "soulmate," many are calling Cassie out and ruling her caption as "disrespectful."
Yet, the internet is at war over whether or not to defend Cassie or dub her "tasteless"

The general consensus is that the caption is nothing more than a cute saying that surfaced on her timeline or a teaser for some new music. However, it’s also too much of a coincidence, since all of the other promotional photos simply tagged the clothing brand.
Either way, let's hope Cassie is simply trying to collect her coins.
